About Us
White Willow Equestrian, L.L.C. offers quality training and instruction with an emphasis on shaping an agreeable equine partner while focusing on a balanced seat and correct equitation.

White Willow makes it's home at Top Line Equestrian Center in beautiful Frederick, Maryland. It is nestled between rolling hills and is outlined by calm ravines with tons of natural wildlife. The facility offers 4 barns with a total of 21 stalls, indoor and outdoor arenas, an outdoor regulation-sized dressage arena, hot/ cold wash racks, with barn manager and head trainer living on property.
Meet Samantha
Head Trainer & Instructor
Samantha has been working with horses since she was eight, she fell in love at first sight and the rest is history. She enjoys working with horses and owners to achieve harmony both in the saddle and on the ground, using methods that have been tried and true across all disciplines and regardless of breed. Her toolbox is varied, and she is able to develop a horse's sense of confidence and respect without the use of fear or force.

Samantha's approach to instructing riders is very similar to how she trains horses. Everything starts from the ground up, developing confidence and a balanced seat during every session. Her methods utilize a basic approach that she has learned from her experience in the saddle, as well as through observation and lessons with her instructors. Her main goal is a harmonious and happy pair, and her students have gone on to other trainers with a solid foundation to build on.
Training
Offering training from the ground up for a variety of breeds and stages with customized training schedules to adapt to each horse's and rider's needs. In some training programs, ground manners and basics are often overlooked in favor of quick results. There is no one-size-fits-all training method at White Willow Equestrian, and results aren't measured by ribbons, but by the relationship between horse and rider!
Samantha takes pride in laying the foundation with basic manners for the horse and a balanced seat for the rider, resulting in a partnership that can be taken into any discipline. She also specializes in tuning up horses and riders, giving them the confidence they need to succeed!
Lessons
Each session is tailored to fit the horse & rider, with options for both hauling in or riding one of our lesson horses.

Lesson: $40 per 45 minute session
Trailer-in Lesson: $35 per 45 minute session
Lunge line lesson: $25 per 30 minute session
Our lesson horses offer something for everyone!
Vetta - the pony extraordinaire! Vetta is our beloved veteran, who excels at walk-trot and basics for beginner riders and children.
Toby - the little powerhouse. Toby is our option for more 'experienced' riders who are interested in pursuing dressage.
Lady - the do-it-all Queen! Lady is a fantastic all around horse who fits nearly everyone, and is the perfect option for those who want to jump or do dressage.
